Parlor Guitar
A favorite size in the late 1800's and early 1900's, now coming back into popularity. Available woods are the same as for the Slope “D” guitar. The body shape is based on a Martin Style 1 guitar.
A picture of the original model is shown; this one has an Indian Rosewood back & sides, and an Ebony fingerboard with stylish inlays. This instrument has the laminated braces and exaggerated top radius favored by the Larson Brothers out of Chicago. The bridge is a truncated pramid, also favored by the Larson Brothers.
Your guitar can look like this one, or incorporate your favorite styling.
